Erin is board certified as a family nurse practitioner from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Erin graduated from Fort Hays State University in 2002 with her bachelor’s degree in nursing, and began her nursing career at Hays Medical Center. In 2003 she moved to Olathe, and began working as a staff oncology nurse for Shawnee Mission Medical Center (now AdventHealth Shawnee Mission). She then attended the University of Kansas for her ARNP Master’s degree. Since graduating from KU in 2008, she has worked as a primary care nurse practitioner at the Overland Park location in both family practice and urgent care settings. She is able to diagnose and treat a wide range of health issues, while emphasizing health promotion, disease prevention, and health education. She is married, has two girls, and enjoys camping, antiquing, going to the lake, and going to K-state football games.
