Our physicians and nurse practitioners at Sunflower Medical are here to make sure you, and your family, receive the best medical treatment. Our focus is the prevention, detection and treatment of most medical problems. You know, the day-to-day illnesses and issues that plague us all – sprains and breaks, unexplained pain, sore throats, earaches, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, general physical exams and wellness visits. Several of our doctors participate in clinical research. This keeps them on the cutting edge of research and the development of new treatments. It also gives patients the opportunity to participate in the creation of new treatments for medical ailments.

But the great news is that Sunflower Medical Group of Mission is also an urgent care clinic. That means there's no appointment necessary. Now there's an option for times when you need to see a doctor, but a trip to the emergency room is overkill. When something happened on an evening or weekend, you either had to suffer through or go to the emergency room. Now you can just walk in to the urgent care clinic, no appointment necessary, and we can give you stitches, take an x-ray, run selected laboratory tests, prescribe medicine and even let you know when the emergency room is your best option. So the next time you need care quickly, walk into Sunflower Medical Group Urgent Care in Mission. I'll bet you feel better just knowing that they're there. Urgent Care Clinic hours are weekdays 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, 9:00 to 2:00 and Sunday, 10:00 to 2:00.

You can visit our Sunflower Medical Group office in Mission for physicals, well-woman exams, routine immunizations and the like. And because we focus on prevention, you'll find on-site lab tests, x-rays, EKG, cardio-vascular stress tests, ultrasounds of the carotid, thyroid, abdomen and pelvis, vascular screens and even bone density scans.
