Wouldn't you rather have your screening tests done at your doctor's office? We are pleased to offer the same tests that are widely advertised to the public and done in public places to our patients in the privacy of our office.

The ultrasound screenings we offer can help save your life. Unfortunately, Medicare and insurance companies typically will not cover these stroke and vascular screenings without the presence of symptoms. This is unfortunate since there are often no symptoms for the diseases for which we screen.

If you are interested in osteoporosis testing, please read on. We do not do heel bone densities for osteoporosis screening (like those offered by companies such as Lifeline Screening) because if you are post-menopausal, the full test that looks for hip fracture risk and spine fracture risk is usually covered by insurance. Additionally, the heel bone density screens only the heel and may miss thinning bone because they aren't having their hips and spine evaluated.
