Dr. Andrea Murray became a family physician after a rural family medicine rotation in medical school taught her the joys of multigenerational family care, Dr. Murray is a Kansas City native who graduated from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Medicine in 1996. She completed her residency at Hinsdale Hospital in suburban Chicago where she served as Chief Resident. She returned to Kansas City and became a partner at Overland Park Family Health Partners from 1999 to 2014. In 2014, St. Luke’s Medical Group acquired that practice, and it became St. Luke’s Medical Group – Blue Valley. Dr. Murray is excited to return to private practice and focus on patient care at the Lenexa East location. She provides comprehensive care from cradle to grave with special interests in migraine headaches, women’s health and travel medicine. In her free time, she and her husband are busy with their two daughters and their school and extracurricular activities; she also enjoys reading fiction and travel.
