Dr. Anna Hanson, board certified in family medicine, enjoys caring for patients of all ages and stages of health. Her special interests include management of complex chronic diseases as well as routine wellness exams focused on prevention. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences from Kansas State University and then spent time in both Kansas City and Wichita to earn her medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. After medical school, she completed her residency at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri, serving as chief resident during her third year. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Kansas Academy of Family Physicians. She joined Sunflower Medical Group in 2018 and currently sees patients at the Kansas City, Kansas location. Originally from Overland Park, Dr. Hanson enjoys reading, crafting, and spending time with her family.
