Dr. Kimmel practices the full spectrum of Family Medicine with Obstetrics. This allows her the unique opportunity to care for an individual from before they are born and throughout their life. This truly encompasses what family medicine is about. Her special interests include Women’s Health and Pediatrics. She is on staff at the Birth Center at Overland Park Regional for her deliveries.
Dr. Kimmel was born and raised in Benton, IL. She attended UMKC-School of Medicine 6 year program where she received her Bachelors in Liberal Arts and Doctorate of Medicine degrees. She completed her Family Medicine Residency at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis, IN in 2005. She is Board Certified in Family Medicine. She is a current member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Kansas Academy of Family Physicians.
Dr. Kimmel currently lives in Overland Park, KS with her husband and children. She enjoys spending time with her family at the lake – skiing, wake-surfing, and tubing. She also enjoys reading and cooking.
