Dr. Cody Jorgensen was born and raised nearby in Topeka, KS. He went to Kansas State University and majored in Chemical Engineering. He then practiced chemical engineering in the Kansas City area for 5 years until deciding to return to medicine and completed medical school at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He finished his residency at Children’s Mercy Hospital in 2019 and then joined Heartland Primary Care. Dr. Jorgensen is a pediatrician at the Lenexa West location.
Dr. Jorgensen lives in Lenexa with his wife, Rachel, and their three kids, Graham, Hadley and Clara. He enjoys outdoor activities with his kids, hiking, golfing and house projects. His professional interests include complex medical care and asthma. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
