Dr. Housman is Board Certified in Family Medicine, and provides care for patients of all ages. She focuses on preventive medicine to promote and maintain health and well-being, and to prevent the progression of disease. She has a special interest in dermatology, pediatrics and adolescent medicine, women’s health, and integrative medicine.
Dr. Housman was raised in the south, growing up in both the panhandle of Florida and the Atlanta, Georgia area. She attended undergraduate school at the Georgia Institute of Technology, and received her masters degree in Public Health at Georgia Health Sciences University. She later moved to the Midwest and received her medical degree from the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, and completed her family medicine residency at the University of Missouri-Kansas City at Truman Lakewood. In her free time she enjoys going to the park with her husband and their two children, listening to live music, eating Thai food, and enjoying all that life as to offer.
She is currently accepting patients for wellness visits, acute care, and chronic disease management.
Dr. Gatz enjoys practicing all aspects of Family Medicine. Whether through well child checks or managing complex medical issues of older patients, his focus is always in preventative medicine and health maintenance. His areas of particular interest include sports medicine, geriatrics and healthcare for people with special needs. He also enjoys performing many office procedures, including skin biopsies, joint injections, and cryotherapy.
Dr. Gatz was born and raised in Newton, KS. He graduated from the University of Kansas with a B.A. in Biochemistry, then later completed medical school at the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City in 2009. He finished Family Medicine residency training at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in 2012. He spent the first four years of his career practicing in his hometown of Newton.
Dr. Gatz is married to his wife Angela, who is a pediatrician. They have three wonderful children who keep them busy outside of work. He enjoys watching KU basketball and Royals baseball. He also has a love for music, both listening and playing.

Dr. Andrea Murray became a family physician after a rural family medicine rotation in medical school taught her the joys of multigenerational family care, Dr. Murray is a Kansas City native who graduated from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Medicine in 1996. She completed her residency at Hinsdale Hospital in suburban Chicago where she served as Chief Resident. She returned to Kansas City and became a partner at Overland Park Family Health Partners from 1999 to 2014. In 2014, St. Luke’s Medical Group acquired that practice, and it became St Luke’s Medical Group – Blue Valley. Dr. Murray is excited to return to private practice and focus on patient care. She provides comprehensive care from cradle to grave with special interests in migraine headaches, women’s health and travel medicine. In her free time, she and her husband are busy with their two daughters and their school and extracurricular activities; she also enjoys reading fiction and travel.
Dr. Hanna Issawi enjoys practicing the full scope of Family Medicine from newborns to geriatrics, especially women’s and children’s health. Her practice focuses on prevention, detection and treatment of common medical problems as well as well-child checkups, routine physicals, well-woman exams and routine immunizations.
Dr. Issawi is originally from Damascus, Syria where she graduated from medical school at the University of Damascus, Syria in 1991 and completed a residency in Anesthesia at Damascus Hospital in 1993. She completed her residency in Family Medicine at the University of Kansas Medical Center in 2011. She previously practiced family medicine from 2011-2013 with Family Practice Associates in Shawnee, KS and was a registered respiratory therapist at Shawnee Mission Medical Center from 1996-2008.
Dr. Hanna Issawi in Overland Park, Antioch Hills Location is now seeing patients and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Kansas Academy of Family Physicians and the Kansas Medical Society. She is fluent in English and Arabic.
Eloisa R. Sarol, APRN, grew up in Pampanga, Philippines. She received her undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1987 and completed her Masters of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2004 at the University of Kansas Medical Center. She has been employed at Shawnee Mission Medical Center since 1981 and Sunflower Medical Group, Inc. since 2005. Eloisa’s specialty is Internal Medicine at the Antioch Hills location. She is an active member of the Filipino Association of Greater Kansas City, Sigma Theta Tau, Delta Chapter and the Philippines Nurses Association of Greater Kansas City. The well-rounded scope of her practice covers all areas of internal medicine and urgent care. She enjoys the variety of her profession and takes pride in treating each of her patients with skills, passion, and sensitivity. She strives to achieve patient’s satisfaction by providing thorough plan of care.
Board Certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, 1981. Dr. Ragland is a thoroughly all-Kansas physician, having not only obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas, but also obtained his MD from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and trained at the University of Kansas Hospital in internal medicine. He has served as a medical staff leader at Shawnee Mission Medical Center and remains on active staff at Shawnee Mission Medical Center with a specialty of Internal Medicine.
Board Certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, 1976. Dr. Oxler earned his BS from Rockhust College and went to the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He trained in internal medicine at the San DIego Naval Hospital in California. He has served as President of the Medical Staff at Shawnee Mission Medical Center and remains on active staff there. He is a member of the Kansas Medical Society, American Medical Association, American College of Physicians. He is an avid golfer.
Dr. John E. Oxler Jr, MD has been selected for the 2015 Best of Shawnee Mission Awards for Emergency Medicine.
Erin is board certified as a family nurse practitioner from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Erin graduated from Fort Hays State University in 2002 with her bachelor’s degree in nursing, and began her nursing career at Hays Medical Center. In 2003 she moved to Olathe, and began working as a staff oncology nurse for Shawnee Mission Medical Center. She then attended the University of Kansas for her ARNP Master’s degree. Since graduating from KU in 2008, she has worked as a primary care nurse practitioner at the Antioch Hills location in both family practice and urgent care settings. She is able to diagnose and treat a wide range of health issues, while emphasizing health promotion, disease prevention, and health education. She is married and enjoys parenting.
Dr. Ely has a keen interest in women’s health, overweight/obesity problems, and preventive care. She also greatly enjoys management of chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, and high cholesterol like all internists. Dr. Ely has practiced internal medicine since graduating from New York Medical College in 1997. She trained at Brown University for residency, Boston University for general medicine fellowship, and was an assistant professor at KU Medical School from 2003 through 2009. Dr. Andrea Ely is an Internal Medical physician at the Shawnee Mission, KS Antioch Hills location. She is married to Tim, a critical care nurse, and they are in love with their twins, Meg and Jay, born in 2009. She enjoys running, traveling, and reading all types of books, especially autobiographies.
