Dr. Wilson joined Sunflower Medical Group January 1, 2013 as a Gynecology Specialist after practicing with Women’s Clinic Associates for 10 years.
Board certified and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Wilson attended Rockhurst University, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 1995. She went on to attend Creighton University, School of Medicine, earning her medical degree in 1999. Dr. Wilson completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Missouri-Kansas City at Truman Medical Center and St. Lukes Hospital in 2003.
Dr. Wilson came to Women’s Clinic Associates from residency in 2003. She is actively affiliated with Shawnee Mission Medical Center, Providence Medical Center and Heart of America Surgery Center.
Dr. Wilson maintains membership in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Kansas City Gynecological Society. She served as Chair of the Ob/Gyn Department at Providence Medical Center in 2010 and 2011.
Dr. Wilson is trained in all areas of women’s health care and is very excited to be able to offer so many new in-office procedures that are minimally invasive, such as Essure sterilization and Novasure and Thermachoice endometrial ablations, and more convenience for her patients. She also treats urinary incontinence and pelvic floor disorders. She is currently at the Leavenworth, KS location with a specialty in Women’s Health and Gynecology.
Dr. Wilson provides comprehensive gyneologic services including: office management of abnormal paps, pelvic pain, ovarian cysts, infertility, heavy periods and abnormal vaginal bleeding. She also offers in-office evaluation and treatment of incontinence and in-office bladder testing. She is train in minimally invasive surgery including robotic surgery which she uses to manage fibroids, endometriosis, and treatment of chronic pelvic pain, and she was one of the first doctors in the area to offer in-office hysteroscopy, ablation (out-patient treatment of heavy periods) and Essure tubal sterilization.
Alan Clement was born in Kentucky and raised in Pittsburg, KS. He went to the University of Kansas for undergrad, then moved to the KU School of Medicine and obtained his MD in 2009. Prior to graduating from medical school he decided that kids are way more fun than grownups, so he decided to specialize in Pediatrics. He completed residency at Children’s Mercy Hospital in 2012 and joined Heartland Primary Care later that year. Dr. Clement is a Pediatrician at both the KCK and Lenexa locations.
Dr. Clement currently lives in Shawnee, KS with his wife and five children: Emma (10), Avery (8), Asher (6), and twins Kate and Parker (3). He enjoys spending time with his family, helping coach his son’s soccer team, reading, listening to music, and rooting on his beloved Jayhawks. His professional interests include breastfeeding support, Down Syndrome, and evidence-based medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Holly is a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner. She obtained her undergraduate nursing degree from the University of Kansas in 2006. Following her graduation, Holly worked as a registered nurse in the NICU at Children’s Mercy Hospital and after completing her masters at UMKC in 2010 she began practicing at Heartland Primary Care. Holly’s is currently at the Kansas City, KS location and her specialty is Pediatrics. Her professional interests include providing healthcare for the underserved, infant development and preventive medicine. She was born in San Diego, raised in Utah, graduated from high school in Minnesota and moved to Lawrence, Kansas to pursue her degree in nursing. She is married with two children and enjoys serving the people in her community.
Linda Salazar is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her MSN from University Missouri Kansas City and is certified through ANCC and the Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Linda is at the Kansas City, KS location with a specialty of Family Practice. Her personal interest include reading, gardening and enjoying time with her many animals. Professional interests include women’s heath, pediatrics, cardiac care and the variety of patients that present in the Urgent Care.
Dr. Darcy Puls, a native Kansan, is a board-certified general internal medicine physician with special interest in women’s health as well as management of complex chronic diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. Dr. Darcy Puls’ specialty is Internal Medicine at the Kansas City, KS location. She also enjoys the challenge of hospital medicine. She earned her MD degree from the University of Kansas in 2008. She completed her residency at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon. Outside of work she enjoys jogging with her dogs and spending time with her family.
