sick-kidIf you have a true emergency, call 911. One of our board certified pediatricians is always on call and available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for emergent concerns after office hours. Please utilize this website to help you with questions when your child is sick. If you still have urgent concerns you can call our main office phone number and speak with the nurse who will help to triage your child’s needs. If the child’s need requires discussion with the on call pediatrician, they will be paged and will return your call. The following are tips for gaining the most from any phone call to our providers:

  • be sure your phone allows calls from blocked numbers
  • have the following information available: your child’s name, dob, phone number for the physician to call, an idea of the problem and your question, your child’s most recent weight, name of any medications and dosages you have been giving, pharmacy phone number if needed
  • be sure to have paper handy in case you want to write any instructions down
  • this service is not used for calling in prescriptions or refills
