Ashley is board certified through American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She received her BSN through Research College of Nursing in 2009. Ashley then worked as a Registered Nurse at OPR on Mother/Baby unit. She worked with postpartum women and families, as well as the newborn nursery. She then received her Master’s in Science of Nursing from Maryville University in 2015 and joined Heartland Primary Care after graduation. Ashley worked in our Urgent Care for several years, and is now transitioning into primary/pediatric care. Ashley’s professional interests include women and children – including acute care, well child visits (growth and development), and chronic conditions. Ashley feels strongly that it is vital to involve the patient and/or parents on the diagnosis and treatment.
Ashley loves spending time with her sons and husband. She enjoys reading, and spending time outdoors. She also has a love for KU Jayhawks. Rock Chalk!
