Cristina Enrique, DO

Cristina Enrique, DO, is a board certified family medicine physician with clinical interest in full spectrum care including obstetrical care, pediatric wellness, adult medicine, and geriatrics. She enjoys being able to provide care for the whole family. Her passion outside of patient care is teaching medical students and residents the importance of primary care and compassion with patients.

Dr. Enrique was born in California and completed her undergraduate at Cal Poly. She moved to the midwest and earned her medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. She completed a family medicine residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center. She went on to finish a Maternal Child Health Fellowship at the University of Rochester Medical Center to allow her to provide c-sections for her patients when indicated. She is on staff at the Birth Center at Overland Park Regional for her deliveries.

Throughout her career, Dr. Enrique’s goal when caring for each patient is to be their strongest advocate. Each patient has unique medical needs and they come from different cultural backgrounds, each have individual health goals to meet. To the best of her ability, she will advocate to achieve her patient’s needs.

When Dr. Enrique has freetime, she enjoys hanging out with her husband, son, and dog. They go camping, garden, play board games, travel around the world, and laugh. She also likes to craft including sewing and knitting.
